Introducing the 2027 Botanical Wall Calendar - Plants in Print. This monthly wall calendar features beige and brown wall art perfect for a scandi or cottage style home. The floral design has been crafted by printmaking with plants to create minimalist art prints, using the local wildflowers, grasses, leaves and mosses to depict a year in plants. It's a calming calendar meant to add elegance to your space, simply hang on the wall using the clip. Alicia's style is modern minimalist whilst the colour selection and pressed flowers evoke those of the old vintage botanical prints. This year Alicia has introduced subtle uses of colour, focusing on earthy tones. 

The first 100 orders will receive a free packet of organic borage seeds, supplied by Vital Seeds - a Devon based organic farm using open pollination methods of seed saving. 

Why borage? Borage is a superstar plant to have in your garden, it not only has huge ecological benefits but is also good for humans too! It's loved by the insects, helps enrich the soil acting as a dynamic accumulator and can be used in companion planting. For us, it's leaves and flowers are edible, the flowers make a great topper for a summery drink.

The design process:

A collection of 13 new botanical monoprints, the process by which Alicia prints with pressed plants! Each print has been composed to simulate what you will see growing in the wild. And, if you're unsure of your plant identification you can check on the Plants In Print insert page included with each calendar. Printed in a reddish brown ink, the subtle colour sits nicely on the beige/sandy coloured paper. It feels earthy and natural, perfect for those who want something low-key.

Handmade original prints using real botanical specimens gathered on countryside walks, pressed, and printed using the slow art of monoprinting, this calendar is a celebration of the changing seasons and the natural world around us. Each print has been digitalised to create this calendar.
