Titled 'Art of Noticing' this piece is inspired by noticing the details of the plant world.

 I have picked and pressed plants to then emboss into paper (without any ink) this is where the plant has been sandwiched between paper and rolled through the etching press to emboss the paper. Like my usual style of monoprinting but this time with no ink. Each piece has then been hand painted with a beautiful nature based ink, madder. Made by another artist here at Krowji (my studio complex).

Plants featured in this piece include, Grass, Moss, Acer leaves, Gypsophila, Wild Carrot, Honesty Pods and Willow leaves.

Professionally hand crafted frame by a local frame maker, with beautiful oak spline corners. Solid walnut frame and anti reflective glass. Ready to hang!

Specification:

Frame size -  48.5 x 48.5cm.

Wood - Solid Walnut wood with Oak Splines (corner pieces) with Anti reflective glass. 

Paper -  9 x Fabriano paper in a grid, float mounted on acid free mount board.

Medium - Blind embosses that have been hand painted with madder ink.
