“St Agnes” Monotype 1/1

This painterly monotype was inspired by some drawings made down in St Agnes. Sitting and sketching the vast cliffs with the waves crashing in, I then took my drawings back to the studio where I experimented with monotyping. 

For this print, I started with a clean plate and added ink, using paint brushes, cotton buds and a cloth. 

Size - 26.5 x 15.5cm with 5x7 inch plate.

This is an original print 1/1 - hand printed on Fabriano paper, a beautiful thick paper with 60% cotton. 

The print will come packaged in a biodegradable sleeve and backing board. Sent via Tracked 24 Royal Mail.
